About the Conference
The Faces of Courage Human Empowerment Conference is a healing-centered gathering for
women who are actively rebuilding their lives after incarceration, domestic violence, trauma,
homelessness, poverty, and behavioral health challenges.
This conference is the culmination of a nine-month, trauma-informed initiative that includes
monthly life skills and empowerment workshops. Women are equipped not only to heal, but to
transform their families and futures.​
